Hello and welcome to the Lab Safety Training registration form.
 
Please note that you can also use this form to change or cancel a previous appointment.
 
This training is offered by the Chemistry Department in collaboration with Environmental Health and Safety, and is open to all students, staff, faculty, post-docs, etc of the Portland State University research community. 
 
After registration, you will be sent materials via email for Part I that you must complete on your own before attending the Part II training session (select from the dates below). 

Training sessions are indicated by the date if they are zoom or in-person. All locations for in-person meetings will be disclosed at least one week before the date.

Please use your pdx.edu address if possible.

Please note: If you are working in a research lab,  you must complete the safety training within 6 weeks of your start date in the lab. You must refresh your lab safety training on an annual basis. In addition, prior to completion of the lab safety training, you must work under close supervision by a senior member of the lab.
